I'm 20 years old and ever since I've gotten my period, my flows have been very heavy and have lasted minimum 7-8 days. I almost always experience very bad cramps and pms symptoms, and sometimes even get sick to my stomach. There is a strong background of twins in my family, and actually both my parents are fraternal twins. I was wondering if these symptoms could be related to my genetics? Could perhaps ovulating twice in the same cycle affect the heaviness of my period in this way?
