Hard to explain...

I really don't know how to explain this but I'm gonna try. I have a history of urinary tract infections, I had some type of surgery when I was 9 years old. I am now 23. I don't know if this has something to do with it or not but here it goes. Lately (the last 3 weeks) I have had an urge to go to the bathroom, I would go into the bathroom to go and it is all like mucus. Almost like AF is here and I'm not using anything to catch it. After cleaning up I have a real bad itching feeling inside. I have contacted my Dr. and they just say it sounds like an infection and calls me in a perscription without checking it out. I would think if it was an infection it would be cleared up by now. (After 3 perscriptions in 3 weeks) I am currently looking for another Dr. My Dr. now seems like they don't want to be bothered anymore. Thanks for any help!
