But even though I never got bad cramps before I got on the pill, the month after I stopped taking it, I got horrible cramps that kept me in bed for 1/2 a day. So I waited until after my period was over, then started taking the pill again. After about a week and a half back on the pill, I started having spot bleeding, then it got heavier and was a dark brown color. I had spot bleeding when I first started the pill, but not like this.
