Won't Stop Menstrual CycleFrom: sandra (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 30 Sep 2000 23:37:02 -0500 (CDT)
I am 33 yrs old & I have had regular periods since the birth of my child 4 yrs ago. I only use condoms w/ husband for BC. In May after my period, I had a brown discharge for 2 wks. In June I had a regular period on the 14th, July my period started on the 4th (2wks early). August my period started at a regular cycle time on the 7th. I visited my OB/GYN in Aug who tested me & found no thyroid problems or cancer and said irregular periods are normal. However, in Sept I had 2 periods & I have constantly had a dark to light brown long stringy noodle discharge in the bathtub that sometimes alternates to lumps. The blood from my periods are clotty& lumpy. There is not any pain at all, except occasional headaches. Do I need to seek a second opinion or just stop worrying about this?
