Hi, I am 28 and have been having many problems over the last 10 months. I have been seeing a urologist & gynecologist. A few weeks ago an ultrasound showed a 4.5cm cyst on my left ovary and I have been on the pill now for about 10 months. I understand functional cysts are normal but why do I have a cyst if I am on the pill and therefore not ovulating? My gynecologist just said "good qusetion" and "lets wait and see". Over the last 10 months my symptoms have been: 1.Extremely painful intercourse 2.Periods of increased frequency and urgency in urinating (I had hydro-cystodistention with a small amount of evidence for Interstiticial Cystitis).Burning urination off and on. 3.Extreme gas, bloating, indigestion, and constipation. 4.Weight gain around abdomin no matter what I eat or how much I exercise. 5.Tingling/pain down from my lower back to foot. 6.Extreme fatigue and anxiety. 7.Occasional pain/cramping in lower pelvic region. Could you please offer some help I am at my wits end with always felling bad. Thank you, Jule
