Hi, I had a positive ECC after my leep. I was sent to an oncologist and the next ECC came back without dysplasia, unlike the last ECC. However, the ECC from the oncologist read:scant detached fragments of benign endocervical cells and rare degenerate inflamed glandular cells, which appear to be reactive given the background inflammation. My question is, when glandular cells are involved, is the nt of reactive time faster compared to squamous cells as far as dysplastic changes progress? Boy, I hope that made any sense. By the way,I'm the one who had questions regarding my recent lap a few days back. Sorry so long. Thanx again, mary.
