I'm confused. Was GBS diagnosed on the pap? If it is found in the vagina and the patient isn't pregnant, treatment is usually not necessary unless there iare symptoms of vaginitis and other infections have been ruled out.

Approximately 30% of women are carriers of GBS.

No, it shouldn't be. Short term antibiotics shouldn'y create any problems.
