The cervix should be 3 cm (30mm) to be considered normal. Under 3 cm is
considered shorter than normal and is at increased risk of preterm labor
or second trimester loss. the combo of the 18mm cervix and status post
LEEP would give me a concern about these risks. A prophylactic cerclage
(preventative) at the beginnnig of the second trimester should be
considered.
