I was diagnosed with a blighted ovum over 4th of july weekend and had a d&c the following wednesday. I had a very light period around the 23rd of july and as of today august 29 found out that I am pregnant again. I was wondering what the chances are that I have another blighted ovum or a miscarriage with this pregnancy. My dr. told me to wait x 3 periods to begin trying to conceive. This pregnancy was not expected due to the fact that we have had infertility problems. The Dr. has taken labs but will this diagnose a blightd ovum? or will an ultrasound be the only way to diagnose?
