Ok, at 17 I am not so sure why you are trying to get pregnant, and have been since 15. I could sit here and give you any number of reasons on why you should wait awhile, but that is not what you asked for. There could be many reasons for not becoming pregnant, from lack of ovulation to pelvic infection, to just plain old timing. If you are sexually active, you need to be having regular gyn exams with pap smears. Suzanne, I wish I could tell you that being pregnant and having children is easy, but I can't. Parenthood is a hard job. Kids are expensive. My husband and I both work full time, and we are barely making ends meet. We have 2 girls. How are you going to pay for food, clothes and diapers? Please think about this carefully. At 17 the world is at your feet, you can be anything, do anything, and go anywhere you want. Enjoy your youth.
