Hyperplasia is an overgrowth of the lining of the uterus. It's usually from excessive levels of estrogen which frequently comes when you don't ovulate. Simple hyperplasia is treated with progesterone for about 3 months and then an endometrial biopsy (an in office sampling of the lining of the uterus) to confirm that the hyperplasia is gone. In addition, some hormone tests should be done to make sure nothing else is going on and that Clomid is the right choice.

Hope this helps.
