The disclaimer on the box mentions that recurrent infections may be >the sign of something more serious but they do not specify what. Am I >risking future conception problems? First...you should use condoms even if its a monogomous relationship just cause the pill isnt 100% but dont worry i wont lecture you about it lol...baby oil as lubricant probably cant be too great for you though...you should stick to something like ky jelly thats meant for that sorta thing! Cause the baby oil could definitley be causeing some irritation. The ortho tri cyclen could be the cause of them as well because I know a friend of mine was on demulen and had reoccuring yeast infections (like 1 a month) and her doc switched the pill she was on and shes been fine ever since so you might want to talk to your doc about that. and the one dose treatments...I don't remember exactly what my doc told me about them but he did say that sticking to the 3 or 7 day ones was better i just cant remember what his reason was. Maybe when you use the one dose ones your yeast infection isnt completley clearing up? As for it affecting conception in the future...im not a doc but I don't think reoccuring yeast infections can cause any probs, i know my moms had many of them and shes had no problems getting pregnant! Goodluck and you should definitley talk to your doc about the tricyclen!
