It's always possible but it would be helpful to know why the adhesions were there in the first place.

A palpable (feelable) lump in the light of a negative mammogram and negative is somewhat reassuring but not a guarantee. A lump felt twice deserves further evaluation. A breast specialist may be appropriate at this time. Discuss it with your new doctor along with your concerns. No time to miss a problem that is noted in your family. You are #1 and come first when it comes to need for diagnosis and taking care.
