Menstral ProblemsFrom: Mary (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 31 Dec 1999 09:28:39 -0600 (CST)
I am 29 years old and have not had a period for 2 years. I was taking Desogen (Birth Control Pill) from 1996 through December 1998. I have not been able to get a period on my own since then. I have been to over 3 different OBGYN's. My current OBGYN has done exams including an internal ultrasound as well as a cat scan and believes I have Secondary Amenorrea. She prescribes Provera every 3 months so that it will bring on my period and then asks me to wait an see if I will get it on my own. Each time I take the Provera I have a regular period. Every month, towards the middle I get all my symptoms, bloated, sore breasts, clear and sometimes light brown discharge but no period. A few months the light brown discharge stays for 2 - 3 days. If you have any sugestions or recommendations for me I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
