Thank you for your reply. I did take my daughter to the pediatrician this afternoon. She decided that my daughter has mastitis and prescribed antibiotics. I find this odd since she has no pain or fever. Everything I have read relates mastitis to breast feeding only. Can you have mastitis at 15 when you are not lactating? The doctor did not offer to check thyroid or prolactin levels. I had to tell her that is what I wanted checked. After the holidays I will definately get her to a breast specialist. Thanks again!
