As for my patients, with or without HMOs, if a sonogram is necesary, I wouldn't tolerate that kind of wait (for me or my patients) and routinely call radiologists to get my patient in that day or the next day if symptoms warrant it.

You've tried most of the "good" stuff. Time to call the doctor and discuss therapy.

Many people have ureaplasm with no symptoms. The symptoms are, at best, variable.
