Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: Irregular periods and cancer" I have 5-7 periods a year. I have been irregular since the day I started. My questions are, Am I more suseptible to breast or ovarian ca because of the hormones I am or am not producing with my monthly cycles? I know they say you risks are higher if you have your first baby at 30 or older(iam 29 and haven't had a child). So am I more at risk becuase I obviously am not producing the proper amount of hormones?
