pain, bloating, GI problemsFrom: Anna (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 13 Dec 1999 22:22:49 -0600 (CST)
For about 4 weeks now, I have had intense mostly right side pain. The nausea I have from this is horrible. And I've also had GI upset, ranging from a few days of diarrhea then constipation. Every bowel movement feels fine at the time, then afterwards I feel horribly nausated (the worst) and pain. I have not had what I consider to be a normal bowel movement in a month. The pain is worse in the evenings, but I really feel it most of the time. It is worse when I am sitting, or wearing snug pants (no I'm not overweight). The last time my hubby and I had sex, it was painful after about 10 minutes. At times my abdomen is so distended that I look pregnant. Last year I had an 10cm cyst removed, it was pathlogical cyst, benign. I'm 25 years old. I have an appt Wednesday with my OB/GYN but I would like to know what to expect. I'm hoping for another cyst that could be removed or will just go away. I know the possibility of adhesions exists, but what would a doc do to find that out? What tests would be done? With my age (25), is there any possibility of cancer?
