the pill, pregnancy, endometriosis...Help!From: Amber (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 9 Dec 1999 13:17:53 -0600 (CST)
I have been on the Pill since September 1995. I have never had any problems with my pills (no spotting b/t periods, mood swings or even weight gain). My periods come like clock work, but the severity of the cramps does fluctuate. My LMP was Nov. 24th, with really painful cramps, but normal flow. Five days after the start I began to have moderate to severe lower abdominal pain. After seeing three doctors, the fourth suggested endometriosis, but he didn't think it was likely with my birth control history. My real questions are, what are my possibilities of endometriosis, and is it possible that I could be pregnant and still have my period because I am on the pill?
