She had been on Coumadin for five months now, but her blood values haven't gotten better. At her last visit, her PT Value was 1.4. Her values have ranged anywhere from 1.4 to 1.8. Her Coumadin level has also been steadily increased. She is now at 7 1/2. Do you know what could be causing her blood values not to get better? Could there be some underlying disorder that is causing this? I'm really worried about her and would appreciate your response. Thank you.
