Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: BCP and Period" I'm on ortho-tricyclen and instead of taking my placebo pills last month I started right into the new pack because it was a special occasion. Now a week and a half into the new pack, I'm getting my period. Does this mean I'll also get my period when I go off the active pills in another week and a half? Do I need to use another form of birth control for now, and if so for how long? Is something very bad happening, or do I need to see a doctor? Thanks so much.
