After doctor visit... what is disorder proliferation phase endometrium?

I've written before about having for the past three months (Sept., Oct. nov. ) irregularities in my periods. They've come with a brownish to pink coloration, little in amount, and long in duration. I am not certain if to even call them periods now, but just some sort of bleeding. Sept. and Oct. had the same periods. On Nov. 10 my doctor did an endometrium biopsy. THe result came out to be a "mildly disordered proliferation phase endometrium". The doctor said this means I am not ovulating, so he has put me on a birth control treatment for three months, starting on Dec. 5th. On Nov. 12 I got what I thought was my period, but it was just again the same type of bleeding I've described above. The only difference on Nov. 28 I got a very heavy bleeding, which my doctor said to be breakthrough bleeding. I thought this was the period I was so anxious to get in the past months, and that I was self-regulating again, but apparently it wasn't. After talking to my doctor he suggested me that maybe I'll need ovulation induced medicine if I want to get pregnant in the future. I am very much preocupied about this because I'm only 27 and I'm getting married next year but was hoping to be able to wait sometime before trying to conceive. If I am very scare of the thought of being infertile. Would there be a way to find out what are my chances of being fertile? Last April I was diagnozed with a 3cm ovarian cyst, which I knew dissapeared after my period and verifying it through a sonogram. The sonogram reflected several small cysts in both of my ovaries. The report suggested that I may have polycystic ovary disease, but my doctor said I didn't, and asked me to measure my temperature to confirm it. I did the measurments, and the temparature changed for about half degree when I thought I was ovulating, so I thought I didn't have to worry. However after this current experience with my periods, I'm not sure if I was actually ovulating after the cyst episode occurred. I'm very concerned I may have PCOS and that it's reflecting on this weird bleeding disorder I'm having. What would you recommend me or suggest me doing? I will do the BCP treatment, and pray I get back to normal. But how about if I don't? I very much want to have kids in the future, but I don't know if I'll be able to. WOuld there be a way to determine how well are my hormone levels doing? Would it be recommendable I see an endocrinologist to determine my hormone behavior?

I greatly appreciate any advise.

Lucila
