I have no patients with this complaint (that I'm aware of) and have never read anything on it. I'd have to assume (total guess) that similar to the phantom limb syndrome (cut off a limb and the brqain still feels pain from time to time), this might be called phantom cycle syndrome. The brain/hormone setup responsible for the cycles when you had your ovaries is still working.
