I don't know what to tell you other than its a shot and may be worth asking about. Maybe this is normal because you are breastfeeding. I breastfed my daughter, too, but had trouble because she kept falling asleep. I assume the doctor ruled out any infection from your discharge? Hope you find an answer soon! Wish I could be of more help, but we'll leave the medical opinion to Dr. M... AM AM
