epethial serous cystadenoma?

Dr. M,

I had my surgery last week, and the mass, which was the size of a large grapefruit on 11/5, was the size of a volleyball - no surprise to me as the pain, pressure and abdomen distention had increased so much since that time. The diagnosis was epethial serious cystadenoma (pending final pathology report, which hasn't came back yet)

I was given all this info after surgery - so I was of course out of it mostly. I do know that I was able to keep my right ovary. What exactly is this ESC, and how likely is there for recurrence or that pathology could show anything different than frozen section?

Thanks, :) Victoria
