I was hoping someone can shed some light on whether this is normal or not. For the last week, I've been having some bleeding for about the first half of the day, and then it turns to brown spotting and then nothing by the evening. I've been waiting for my period to start, but each afternoon I'm disappointed that it has stopped. Is this type of pattern normal for 5 weeks after a d&c? (Some background info: Had a d&c in August and another in October this year. After the first d&c, my period started 30 days later and was normal. I had a lot more bleeding with the second one including large "fist-size" clots. My gyn found I had an infection 2 weeks ago while checking for the source of my constant cramping. (I took doxycycline for 7 days for the infection.)) I don't want to bother my doctor (or his nurses) if this is normal. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
