Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: Concern with ovulation" About a week ago, during the time I believe I was ovulating, I began experiencing light spotting. This has continued for seven days now. Off and on I experience a pink to brownish color spotting. The brown discharge was fairly heavy on day 5. I have not used any birth control and my periods have always been a 27-28 day cycle. I have never experienced this before and since my husband and I have begun trying to conceive, I am very concerned as to this problem.
