Susan,

Antibiotics can cause Thrush. Could be that maybe it didn't clear up completely the first time she was treated and when her immune system was down due to the cold, it came back. I had thrush from antibiotics given during and after a surgery. I had to use a swish and swallow. I couldn't swallow it due to not being able to keep it down, so the thrush never completely went away. There are also Troches (sp?) that can be used, which are a little easier to stomach.

Just some thoughts. I'm not a Dr. or medical professional of any sort, so please, wait to see what the Great Dr. has to say.

Good luck!
