Vulvaginal discomfortFrom: virginia (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 15 Nov 1999 13:40:31 -0600 (CST)
I have been having intense itching on my labia for a few years now. I am 49 and perimenopasal. At first the itching was minor nd sporatic but now it is a burning, stinging, irritation that becomes raw with scratching a lot and is constant. I have been to the doctor at least 5 times so far and I have been treated with antifungal cream as well as for yeast infections. The area involves started in the periclitoral area and now involves the entire vulvar area. I am now developing lumps in my labia majoria. These lumps appear overnight and become quite large. They disappear as quickly. I am desperate for releafe. HELP!! Ginny
