I have the same problem, my breasts are extremely sore before and during my menstrual periods. This has only been happening since I started taking oral contraceptives. It also tends to start right about day 15-16 of my cycle the first month after i've changed pills. If you're taking OC's the hormones in them might be what causes the breast soreness. One thing I found really interesting was that I started a new pill last month, and my breasts became very sore at day 15, but when I got a 100mg shot of progesterone on day 24 to shrink a cyst, the pain was completely gone within a few hours. I got really woozy and jittery and shakey from the amount of hormone that my body wasn't used to, but was thrilled to find out my breasts weren't sore anymore. I don't know if any of this helped or not, but I hope it gave you some ideas!
