Ann-pessaryFrom: Elizabeth (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 11 Nov 1999 06:13:23 -0600 (CST)
Hi, For what it's worth - wearing a pessary is like using a diaphragm but in reverse. You take it out for certain (intimate) times or even every night when you go to bed b/c laying down takes the pressure off of the prolapses. I would say wearing a pessary is like wearing tampons - you forget it's there for the most part. best wishes to you, Elizabeth
