Not one to second guess anyone (usually), I can tell you there is absolutely no advantage to the progesterone shot or pills if you're on the pill (OC)>

For cysts smaller than 6-7 cm, wait 2-3 months for the first sono and if it's getting smaller or staying the same, just follow with sonos.
