Christine,

Thank you for your response. I am sure that they did type the donor. I was given a list of anonymous donors to choose from, and her blood type was not listed. Prior to the embryo transfer, I asked if blood type was going to be a problem and the doc said that it shouldn't be because I was Rh +.

The reason it concerned me, was that my son became jaundiced within the first 12 hours of life, and even with phototherapy his bili hung around 14 for a month. The Pediatrician was not overy concerned, but we were in the office every other day for bili levels and occasionally for retic counts to see if he was hemolyzing.

I as earlier stated, I am probably worrying about things unecessarily. I guess I shouldn't worry about things that have not happened yet. Once again, thank you for your response.
