Karen, yes you MAY be at risk for future problems. One problem you may not even know of at this time is pelvic organ prolapse. Most women do not know of pelvic prolapse until it happens to them. The pelvic floor muscles help hold up the uterus, bladder, rectum, etc. A tear weakens the pelvic floor muscle.
