pain in left arm - should I be concerned? Sorry to trouble anyone - but I just want to make sure the pain I have in my left arm isn't a big deal. I had a busy weekend, have two very small children (under 3) but woke up in the night w/an ache in my left arm - armpit area - the side of my ribcage under the arm is slightly tender. It doesn't feel like a muscle pain from over extention, if that makes sense - and my lower arm aches a bit too. It's a deeper pain, not like after you work out too hard. Should I be concerned, or can muscle strain show up this way? If it's something else, what other signs would I noticed? I'm 36 = run down, work full time, and have two small kids.
