Dear Dr. Marchbein

Can you give me any idea how long cadaver fascia has been used in cystocele repair? Also what about the use of permanent sutures for this repair instead of absorbing ones. Do they cause infection or does the body tend to reject them? If they are permanent do you feel them all the time pulling even after recovery? Do you know of any studies done on this?
