Not normal at all. You may have, while protecting your abdomen, strained your back muscles.

If it's just your back and not your abdomen, see the surgeon to fonfirm this. If it's not directly associated with the surgery, a chiropractor, orthopedist, physical therapist or massage therapist may be better than narcotics.

Not likely in this time period butif it continues, it's certainly possible.
