My husband had a vasectomy three years ago and I went off the pill (which I had been on since 17). Have had 2 abnormal paps in the past 3 yrs. Never any treatment because they were always clear for the next 3 subsequent tests. I've had "insomnia" problems for the last couple of years. But now, I've started waking up at approximately the same time in the middle of the night with extreme body heat (feels like a fever), but remarkably no sweating. This "heat" which makes me toss all blankets and sheets to the side, lasts for a few hours and prevents me from falling back to sleep until it has passed. Makes getting up for work the next a.m. very tough.
