If you haven't seen your gynecologist since the bleeding started in September, I suggest you make an appointment to follow up on your absent, then prolonged bleeding. If you didn't have an ultrasound in October, your gyn may want you to have one. Also, it would be helpful if you requested (in writing) that the hospital send records of all labs, xrays, and ultrasounds to your gynecologist for review. Doing so may save you some time. I hope you get an answer soon!
