Hi, My gyn did the same thing, diagnosed me with endo and adenomyosis without doing anything other than a normal pelvic exam, and taking my history. Of course once I agreed to surgery and he got in there he found out I did NOT have endometriosis at all, but DID have adenmyosis, and also massive adhesions (that to me look like endo).

Maybe it was the history of problems, and the Dr.'s experience hearing those and getting confirmation via surgery, that enables them to diagnose (tentatively) conditions without actually doing the tests to see them? Gina
