Hi Patti. Thanks for the input. When the breast discharge started I had hormone tests including prolactin and thyroid function tests - both were normal. It wasn't until about two months after these tests that I started missing my periods. I forgot to mention that I changed my diet again rather drastically just before I stopped having periods since I was gaining so much weight with my new hypoglycemia diet (I went from 105 to 125 within about 6 months but have since remained around 125). I haven't returned to the doctor since the hormone tests but I will do so now, but do you think I should get these hormone tests repeated? Or, do you think I should just have a breast and pelvic exam?
