Nancy, I wish I could help you on this, but, I didn't have this problem. With my first childbirth experience, I went without intercourse for about 2 years due to no man in my life and after my second, the lack of pain may have been due to my daughter being 8 lbs 13 oz at birth. Also, I had a relatively uncomplicated birth with her, about three hours of pushing, then they had to use the forceps for one pull due to meconium in the birth water.
