Re: hair removingFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netThu, 21 Oct 1999 22:16:11 -0500 (CDT)
HI. My sister had problems with facial hair when she was young. She found a good electolysis person and saw a doctor who perscribed medication to balance her hormones---- she was delighted with the results. Don't wait, and don't be embarassed. Talk to a doctor and see if there is any thing hormonal, and either way, consider electrolysis. I have had a bit of electroysis myself, lately, and while it is somewhat painful, the results are wonderful... and, my electrolysis technician tells me there are various things that can be done for the pain that I haven't taken advantage of. Plucking always resulted in ingrown hairs for me, and shaving just made me feel unfeminine, and i hated the stubble, and, while electrolysis takes multiple treatments (I was going every two weeks, then every three and now am at every four--- my sister may have started with more than once a week, but she had a serious case-- the smooth hairless face is worth it. Look into it, and find the best technologist you can. Good luck Dee
