Dear Sue,

For those of us with irregular periods, dating a pregnancy can be tricky business. It's possible that you got pregnant only six weeks ago, even though you didn't have a period. Continued monitoring of ultrasound (and perhaps blood tests) will help to establish an expected due date. I suspect you'll be on pins and needles until you see a heartbeat on ultrasound, and I hope your wait is short. Good luck!
