If someone from the medical field could reply I would greatly appreciate it. The same question posted a few months ago did not result in enough information. The problem is that I burn everytime my husband and I have sex. I have been married and monogamous for almost 6 years. The burning started 5 years ago for no apparent reason. My gyn has ruled out everything but at the same time has no more ideas. I do not douche, but we have occasionally used lubricant and I am on the pill. Any internal contact with his semen results in 10-30 minutes of painful burning. I need to know if there's anything I can do about this sensitivity to semen. My main concern is the cause of the problem and if anything can be done to correct it. I would rather not look forward to a life of condoms and him pulling out, both of which are unsatisfying.
