The risk to the baby is in the form of a virus called toxoplasmosis that is transmitted by cats through urine and feces. It can also be transmitted by eating under cooked meat. As long as you do not handle the litterbox you should be fine. Of course the key to reducing the risk of any disease transmission is good handwashing. Other option; 5 cats in 1 apartment- send some to new homes! LOL
