Hi Barbara,Sounds familar.I also have had 2 laps. for adhesions. My problem with adhesions started after having a hysterectomy.I'm beginning to think that adhesion sufferers are a lost cause. It is one big vicious circle that we go through. As so many times I have been told that the more surgery the better chance for occurance of adhesions.Right now I am going to pain management and I am taking Methadone,Klonopin and Arthrotec. These meds helped a lot in the beginning but now I am having breakthrough pain and I wake every morning very sick to my stomach.I have been on these meds since July and the Dr. does't want to up the dose for me he told me instead of increasing the meds I should try to increase my activity level.Talked to me about endorphines(sp),being the natural pain reliever,THey also think that being on these meds will trick my brain into thinking the pain is gone.It hasn't worked yet.So no! it is not all in your head and don't let any Dr. tell you that it is.If they do I would find a different Dr...THere must not be a Dr. any where that suffers with adhesions ,As you know the more activity the worse the pain.Sorry for being so down about this but I am at my wits end .I don't know what to do.I do know that before I had the hysterectomy I did have a lot of diarrea and when the Dr. went in he found that the left ovary was attached to the bowel. So your problem could be that there are adhesions on the bowel.I am not a Dr. so I couldn't tell you for sure that this may be the case.Best of luck,There has to some help for us somewhere.Peggy
