Well, I had one on the same day that I had my daughter (on 6/7/93) and I remember that I stopped bleeding in the seventh week since I stopped about a week before I went back to work in my eighth week (these weeks are weeks after birth). I do not remember it lightening up, getting heavy again and lightening up to nothing. I seem to remember it as just lightening up to nothing over time. Also, just so you know, my incision was through my navel if that makes any difference. However, everybody's body is different. Also, about April of '95, I had a month long period that I had to take oral contraceptives for about a week to stop it. Pegasus P.S. I am new to the list, 33 years old, married and obviously female
