Erin, I know you've been concerned about pregnancy throughout your last cycle of pills. If a pregnancy test would give you peace of mind, I suggest you take one; most will detect pregnancy that happened ten days ago or more. If you get to the end of the placebo week without bleeding, I'd be more concerned. The physical stress you've been through recently could cause your period to be a little different. Also, it's not unusual for the day bleeding begins to change over time, even when a woman's on the pill. I hope all's well.
