FibroidsFrom: Anita (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 8 Oct 1999 12:40:55 -0500 (CDT)
I have been diagnosed with two fibroids. One is almost 3 cm. and is close to the cervix the other is smaller and at the top of the uterus. I will be 36 next month, and my doctor has given me a choice of lupron (which I hear is dangerous) and deprovera injections. I have decided to go with deprovera injections. She did mention that if I did not want any more children to go with a hysterectomy or a myectomy. I am not sure what to do, but I am experiencing a lot of pain and bleeding. I think due to birth control pills she first placed me on. I will begin my first course of injections today. What are your thoughts on this therapy?
